Then length would be 20+x m

Perimeter = 280m

2(x+20+x) = 280

Divide to each side by 2.

2x+20= 140

Subtract 20 from each side.

2x = 120

Divide to each side by 2.

x = 60

Width = 60 m

Length = 80 m
